Britney in hospital again
published: Saturday | February 2, 2008

bangshowbiz: Britney Spears hysterically accused her mother of sleeping with her lover as she was admitted to hospital.

The Piece of Me singer - who has been classed 'GD' (gravely disabled) by health-care professionals at Los Angeles' UCLA Medical Center - screamed that Lynne "wanted to sleep with her boyfriend" as she was taken away in the early hours of Thursday morning.

Sources claim Britney raged: "The only reason she's admitting me is because she wants to be alone with her boyfriend! She wants to sleep with my boyfriend!"

The 26-year-old singer didn't specify if she meant photographer Adnan Ghalib or her ex-husband Kevin Federline who Lynne has been in close contact with.

Hospital sources said Britney arrived at 2:15 a.m., but was not admitted until 4:15 a.m. as she was causing such a scene. They claim she was on Adderall - a stimulant used to treat attention deficit disorder - and was taking up to 10 laxatives a day.

When she calmed down, the singer talked about how much she misses her sons Sean Preston, two, and 16-month-old Jayden James.

The medical term GD means the patient is unable to take care of basic needs, including food, clo-thing or shelter. It is one of the criteria for involuntary commitment.

unconcerned mother

Meanwhile, Britney's 'manager' Sam Lutfi has accused Lynne of not caring about her daughter's condition.

In a text message sent to US TV show Access Hollywood, he wrote: "No. Her mother is not someone who cares about her daughter, she's only concerned with herself. Sad but true. She was too busy getting a manicure to come over Thursday, despite her daughter's pleas. Sad, very sad."

Lutfi also revealed he feels responsible for Britney and is the only person with her best interests at heart.

He said: "I feel like I have a moral obligation.

"You meet her and she cries, and she begs you not to turn on her. I have three sisters and I would do the same for any of them."

"Britney has never paid me, I have never sold any photos of her, and I have never accepted money from the media."
