LETTER OF THE DAY - Legalising abortion a backward step
The Editor, Sir: It is interesting how the nation's morality can be put on pause, as just a few months ago we were advocating safe sexual practices and returning to our moral heritage as a people.

Church behaving like roadblockers

The Editor, Sir: The church and other civic groups have decried the government's stance on legal abortion. In my opinion, they are approaching it in a negative manner.

My heart cries for aborted kids

The Editor, Sir: Contrary to Elaine M. Campbell, one cannot be both 'against abortion' and against 'pro-life believers' at the same time. Clearly, Campbell supports abortion.

Applauding good fathers

The Editor, Sir: Women give life and replenish the beauty of humanity every time a child is born ... . Just as how God replenishes the universe and adds new life to it each day. I think women and children are the most beautiful in this planet (especially children).

Distress at jazz festival

The Editor, Sir: Allow me to express my disgust and distress at the Air Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival. I am an avid fan of jazz festival over the years, but for the last four years it has outgrown its space.
