The Editor, Sir:We are all busy in the throes of buying valentine gifts, et cetera, but do we ever give thought to the fact that we are, in this blessed isle, slowly moving away from the golden rule of 'loving your neighbour as yourself.' If we could use this period of celebrating love to bring back real love to this country, this would go a far way to solving our problems.Have we noticed that one of our most wanted men is extremely young? Where are his parents, his mentors?I really believe that most of our young criminals do not really know right from wrong. We all need to tackle the problem of the alienation of our youth because those of us who should be role models have come off our pedestals. We have forgotten the rules given to us by our parents, our teachers, our ministers of religion and we have all opted for 'the love of money'. This is getting us nowhere and we must stop and take stock.I am, etc.,Barbara CoverKingston 6
