Nesbeth is new manager of CMA CGM Jamaica

The French shipping line, CMA CGM, has appointed Leopold Nesbeth as general manager of its Jamaica operations. CMA CGM is one of the major shipping lines serving the port of Kingston, operating at the Kingston Container Terminal.

Nesbeth was introduced at a customer appreciation cocktail party held by the company recently.

Nesbeth joins the company with over 16 years' experience at a senior level in sales and marketing. His most recent appointment was at the Jamaica Cane Products Sales Ltd, where he was the sales and marketing manager. He has been successful in developing and launching new products and driving the strategic position of various organisations.

Nesbeth earned his postgraduate degree in international and export marketing from the University of Strathclyde Business School, Scotland and a postgraduate diploma in business education from the University of the West Indies (UWI).

A past president of the Rotary Club of Kingston, Nesbeth is also a member of the board of AA-MM Credit Union, Mona Preparatory School and PETCOM. He is married and is the father of five children.
