Improved TV

Congratulations to both CVM and TVJ for their improved programming in the past six months. Both stations have increased local content on the airwaves. I was impressed with the fare of programmes shown during February.

Now I know it was Black History month, but can't it continue for the rest of the year? In praising, let me also mention the morning programmes on both stations. CVM has improved tremendously in its delivery of 'Sunrise'. The ladies are now more prepared to conduct interviews. Over at TVJ, the playful Neville and Simon are not appropriate for serious interviews all the time. By the way, where is Dahlia Harris? We miss her face from television, why isn't she used more often. Her bright smile and effervescence personality is a pleasure each morning. Bring back more of Dahlia Harris.

Tribute to DPP

"I am humbled" says Paula Llewellyn, is a true reflection of self-identification. She couldn't

have used a better description as indeed she is humble and has ensured that the humility in which she speaks permeates throughout her entire life and subsequently the rewards of such has come to fruition. Aunt Paula, as I called her while I was growing up, has proven to be a great role model and motivator in my life.

I am pleased to see such a unique, brilliant, patriotic and humble character being so rewarded to being the first female to be appointed Director of public prosecutions. She will be a great team leader and motivator to her staff members who I am sure have welcomed her appointment. My only regret is that her mom, Aunt Mavis, who also played a great role in my life did not survive to see her daughter's achievement.
