Women control is 'shocking'
published: Monday | March 17, 2008

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I refer to Letter of the Day, The Gleaner, March 10, 'Women in control as men sit on the margins'.

Sir, this is a very shocking statement and needs careful analysis. With all due respect to ladies everywhere in control of high office or a cook in the kitchen, if the men allow this to happen, ladies enjoy yourself.

However, ladies and gentlemen, listen, the shocking news is whenever God allows the women to rule over the men, it is because of sin, it is not a compliment to any. See Isaiah 3:11-12 - "As for my people, children shall be your oppressors and women rule over them". This is no compliment when children can be allowed to be so aggressive regardless of who is in control.

Losing control

Men of today need to wake up and hear how God feels about us men. For the Church our Lord chooses 12 men to control, alas, Judas fell out, the other 11 cast lots and chose another man to make 12 as ordained by our Lord.

These marginalised men of today left the Church in the hands of women, although the Bible states emphatically that a woman shall not be in authority over the man, etc. These disobedient men of today ordained women to be bishops, pastors, etc, in defiance of God's words, no wonder we are praying but things are getting worse and worse.

God help us.

I am, etc.,
