MEADHAVEN UNITED continued their impressive run in the Victoria Mutual Building Society (VMBS)/Kingston and St Andrew Football Association (KSAFA) Super League with a comfortable 1-0 win over the Jamaica Defence Force (JDF, 28 points) at Up Park Camp on Saturday.
Meadhaven United lead the standings with 45 points, followed by Bull Bay (37), who recorded a 3-1 victory over Police National at Duhaney Park.
In the league's other games, Cavalier defeated Maverley/Hughenden 3-2 in a hard-fought match at Constant Spring. Constant Spring registered a 2-0 victory over Mountain View and Rockfort and Santos played to a 2-2 draw.
In the Major League competition, Real Mona and Liguanea played to a 0-0 draw, Central Kingston defeated Barbican 2-1 , Rae Town and UTech played to a 1-1 draw while Brown's Town and Cooreville Gardens also drew 1-1. The game between Swallowfield and Seaview Gardens was postponed.
In Syd Bartlett rescheduled matches, Maxfield Park drew 2-2 with the Island Special Constabulary Force, Meadforest beat New Kingston 3-0 and Port Royal defeated Allman/Woodford 3-1. The game between Pembroke Hall and Molynes United was postponed.
