Yesterday The Gleaner asked patients at hospitals and clinics for their reactions to the removal of user fees.

I'm here to see the dentist. It's good, because not all the time you have the money to come to the doctor, so it helps. There's no real change in the queues because people don't really know about it. I mean I only found out last night.

I have a slight headache and pains and so I came for a check-up. I born and grow in this clinic and that's why I'm here. I love how the clinic is nice and clean and they attend to you as soon as you come. Staff and security are very nice. When we come they are helpful, and we appreciate it.

It's pretty good so far. Before, you had to wait for so long and I didn't have to wait for five minutes. However, I think they should have done it for children up to 18 and senior citizens, because you're going to find people hanging around.
Owen Davis
(KPH)
So far, I don't find any fault with it. I don't know what is to come, but I think it is good because it's going to help the poorer class. We have to wait and hope for the best. It is a good change though.
