Whether you choose large frames with coloured rims or the aviator-inspired goggles, oversized 'darkers' are a great way to stay chic and shielded under the sun. Tip: Ensure you pick a pair of sunglasses right for your face. This includes not only the shape of the frame, but also the colour. Round face - Try thick frames and earth tones to elongate your face
Oval face - Choose square frames to add dimension
Square face - Oval frames are best as they add curves
Heart-shaped face - Try large rimless sunglasses in lighter colours.
Jewelled necklines
Dramatic necklines have become a great accent for clean cuts and simple silhouettes. From large jewels and stones to coloured sequins, these details lining the upper rim of a garment are the answer to forgetting the necklace while keeping the bling.
Crucify the competition
Crosses and crucifixes (a cross with a representation of Jesus' body) have long been primary symbols for the Christian religion, being used in both public worship and during private devotion. However, they also play a dual role in becoming headliners in mainstream fashion, whether gold, crystals, coral and glass.
Although wearing this item may still spark controversy in some parts of the world, it is for the most part acceptable. Crosses and crucifixes are a great way to profess your faith with style.
Goodbye …
Rubber flipsare flops
Available in every colour of the rainbow, rubber flip-flops continue to be staple footwear for many women and even some men. Despite its convenience and seeming versatility with the ever-present squeaks and even the occasional slip-off, it's time to lay this two-for-the-price-of-one phenomenon to rest.
Do-rags out
A do-rag may be seen simply as a piece of cloth secured around the head by long ties on both sides. But the do-rag has a long history beyond today's pop culture.
Both men and women throughout the '90s wore do-rags for reasons ranging from holding hairstyles in place through the night to securing your do so you're not reeled in by factory equipment.
Despite all this, do-rags still don't have a place in the fashion world and should not be included in everyday dress.
