Vocational training in 'senior schools'

The Editor, Sir: The idea of remaining at school until 18 years old is very good, but with emphasis on vocational formation. The Government should consider handing over that programme to HEART/NTA which liaises with employers.

Anxiety for peace and goodwill

The Editor, Sir: The anxiety for peace and goodwill is felt throughout the land and the ball is at the feet of the government to take the decisive action against the murderers.

Amnesty should 'butt out'

The Editor, Sir: It is in my opinion as a law-abiding citizen of Jamaica in all fairness that Amnesty International should 'butt out' and allow the police and security forces to do their job effectively and efficiently.
