published: Sunday | June 8, 2008

A motor vehicle collision claimed the lives of three persons on the Bustamante Highway in Clarendon yesterday afternoon.

Seven other persons, including an eight-month-old baby, have been hospitalised in critical condition.

Dead are 31-year-old Howard Bachan of Comfort Road, Osborne Store, 42-year-old Howell Watts of a York Town address, and 36-year-old Don McLeod of Hatfield, Manchester.

The crash occurred less than 24 hours after another motor vehicle collision claimed five lives on the Dawkins Pen main road in the parish on Friday afternoon.
