Tufton times two
published: Sunday | June 8, 2008

Dr Christopher Tufton and wife Neadene get ready to cut their birthday cake at their joint celebration, dubbed 'Journey through Jamaica', on Friday, May 30. - Photos by Colin Hamilton/Freelance Photographer

It was twice the fun as, although not born on the same day, Agriculture Minister, Dr Christopher Tufton, and his wife Neadene had a double birthday celebration at their Liguanea, St Andrew, home on Friday, May 30.

Long-time friend Wayne Chen chaired the brief formalities and guests dined on a wide variety of Jamaican-grown foods on a menu themed 'Journey through Jamaica'. The minister donned a 'Dr Cassava' chef's hat and served up, you guessed it - cassava run down.

Seems like some heavy stuff going on here between Transport Minister Mike Henry and wife Dawn.

Spanish Ambassador Jesús Silva (left) and hotelier Gordon 'Butch' Stewart had a lot more on their minds as others partied.

Canadian High Commissioner Denis Kingsley and his wife Jo Ann take it slow and easy under humid skies.
