The famous fish market of Hamburg, one of the 'must see' tourist attractions in Germany was the theme as SACO Shipping GmbH recently hosted an agents' meeting as part of its 20th anniversary celebrations.
Jamaicans Neville Lyn Fatt, financial director and Denise Lyn Fatt, managing director of Freight Handlers Limited, SACO's local agents were among the over 200 agents from around the world who were in attendance for the gala occasion. In keeping with the theme, the décor included nets, shells, boats and 'all things of the sea' while the menu had a wide choice of sumptuous seafood dishes. The amusing entertainment package succeeded in putting everyone in a festive mood.
SACO Shipping GmbH, one of Germany's largest NVOCC/Consolidators, was founded in 1988, and operates out of head offices in Hamburg and a branch office in Bremen. The company is privately owned and managed by a partnership.

The four were among participants at the Jamaica US Chamber of Commerce Jamaican Business Expo and third annual recognition and installation luncheon, which was held in Florida. The expo, which was themed 'Buy Jamaican - Brand We Love' was opened on May 29 by Robert Gregory, president of Jamaica Trade and Invest, with Karl Samuda, minister of industry, commerce and investment giving the keynote address at the luncheon held on May 30. Seaboard Jamaica was one of the sponsors of the expo.
