Air Jamaica movesdo not go far enough
Don Wehby, the minister who has responsibility for Air Jamaica, came as close as he could to doing the next best thing. The best thing would have been to take Air Jamaica out of its misery by shutting it down, thus saving taxpayers a big, fat wad of money.

When the police say too much

Had there been a prize for the most ridiculous news item of the week, the police in the East Kingston division would have been on the shortlist for the award. - Dennie Quill

NOTE-WORTHY - Focus on crime

In some ways the robbery at the Salvation Army is a good thing; good in the sense that more light has been focused on crime (the light couldn't be brighter).
