Harbour View outclass rivals for easy victory

ST JOHN'S, Antigua (CMC):

TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS Harbour View, of Jamaica, picked up six All-Star selections from the CPTSA Women's Football Tournament.

Harbour View outclassed their rivals to easily lift the championship at the YASCO Sports Complex on Sunday night and earned a half-dozen picks on the 15-member All-Star squad, which organisers named after the tournament.

Harbour View dethroned Villa Lions as they romped to a 5-0 win in the final of the seventh annual CPTSA event.

Villa Lions secured seven All-Star picks and the Harbour View players named were Taneisha Vassell, Shakira Duncan, Natasha Douglas, Stacy-Ann Johnson, Shanique Mitchell and Kerry-Ann Edwards.

The Jamaicans ended the tournament with a perfect record of not conceding a goal and winning their five games with an overall tally of 27 goals.
