Trustee in bankruptcy Monty Kandekore has been appointed provisional liquidator for the five-year-old investment scheme, Cash Plus Ltd, which is now in receivership.
Kandekore is to take the necessary steps to wind up the company.
Yesterday, he asked the Supreme Court for time to study the reports and documents filed in the case.
Kandekore made the application in the case involving the former Cash Plus manager who, in March, applied for Cash Plus to be put in receivership.
Senior Puisne Judge Marva McIntosh has put off the former manager's case until Friday.
She is seeking to recover money from Cash Plus Ltd for living expenses. It is her contention that since she placed Cash Plus into receivership, her life has been threatened.
She says she needs compensation so that she can live in a secure and safe community.
Last week Friday, Justice Roy Anderson made the order for the liquidator to be appointed after the former Cash Plus manager made an application. A petition was also filed to wind up Cash Plus.
Kevin Bandoian was appointed temporary manager of Cash Plus Ltd in April this year.
