International Telecommunications giants, America Movil, recently acquired MiPhone, and it used the opportunity of a cocktail reception held at the elegant Montego Bay Yacht Club to introduce its new chief executive officer, Alejandro Guiterrez-Olvera Cabrales, last Saturday night.

In spite of the inclement weather, guests came and mingled as the political, business and social circles intertwined.

Short formalities were hosted by Noel Esty, marketing manager at MiPhone. Edmund Bartlett, tourism minister; Ruddy Spencer, health minister, member of Parliament Dr D.K. Duncan, and Mayor of Montego Bay Charles Sinclair brought greetings.
