The more, the Merrier
published: Thursday | August 7, 2008

This wrap will hit the spot when you dine at Cuddy'z. - Ian Allen Staff/Photographer

You have always heard the saying: 'the more the merrier'. When it comes to the Olympics, it's never been more true.

If you're not catching the games with friends at home then join the fun at Acropolis or Cuddy'z. With a 50-inch television screen to make the action larger than life.

Acropolis will be ideal. Their menu will include; burgers, fries, wings, light snacks and there may be a few drink specials thrown in to heighten the fun as Jamaica makes what is predicted to be the largest medal haul in history.

Appropriate for breakfast

Cuddy'z will also be catering to a large crowd during the Olympics. Manager Jeanelle Waddell, notes that since most of Jamaica's events will be in the mornings, their menu will be appropriate for breakfast. She notes that famous staples of Jamaican breakfast, such as ackee and saltfish, boiled banana, eggs and dumplings, will be available to satisfy patrons. Their opening hours will also be adjusted to facilitate the games.

So for the next two weeks, pop in to your favourite eatery to see what they have lined up for the greatest games on earth.
