ST LUCIA - Groups involvement in crime praised
published: Friday | August 8, 2008

King

CASTRIES, St Lucia (CMC):

Prime Minister Stephenson King has welcomed the involvement of religious organisations in the fight against crime in St Lucia.

Speaking after holding a meeting with members of the Fighting Against Increasing Threats group, King said that he was "impressed by the mandate, the mission and vision of the organisation".

"It certainly crosses boundaries and brings together most of the community-based organisations, religious and social (bodies) in their quest to deal with some of our social problems," King added.
