The island was in a frenzy yesterday as our golden boy, Usain Bolt, returned home. Everything else was forgotten but, over the weekend, some persons found other reasons to celebrate.

Triple gold medal record-breaking Olympian Usain Bolt spent his last night in London before returning home yesterday to a hero's welcome. He was special guest at Oliver Samuels' play 'Guava Jelly' at the Hackney Empire in East London. He was accompanied by June Daley, president of Miss Jamaica UK, and received thunderous applause when he appeared on stage. - contributed
