Sly and Robbie 'Riddim twins' on tour
published: Monday | September 15, 2008

DRUM and bass team Sly Dunbar and Robbie Shakespeare started 21-date tour of the United States and Australasia last week with a date in Spokane, Washington. They are touring with American rock/reggae band Slightly Stoopid and singer Cherine Anderson.

Most of the American dates are scheduled for California where Slightly Stoopid are from. Since the release of their self-titled album in 1996, the band has built up a formidable following on the US west coast.

The three-pronged tour moves to the Antipodes early next month with the opening show scheduled for Auckland, New Zealand, on October 7. The jaunt is expected to end at the Metropolis venue in Freemantle, Western Australia.
