Jewel of India
published: Thursday | October 2, 2008

Still in the process of finalising scrumptious options for you to enjoy at this year's Gleaner- sponsored KRW, Jewel of India, is looking forward to serving you this year.

This is their second year in the event. According to Pascal Sud of Jewel of India, it has definitely been beneficial to them and they have seen an improvement in their customer base.

"We wish they could have it two times per year," Sud said.

Currently, they are looking at expanding their market overseas and setting up a restaurant in Canada.

Providers of authentic Indian cuisine, Jewel of India has superb decor and offers a fully stocked bar.

When Food visited, a meal of jewel lamb chops simmered in masala gravy, tomatoes, green peppers and onion, garlic nan and bastmati rice pilau was being prepared. This dish is sure to make it on the KRW menu.

They are one of five restaurants located in the Courtyard, at 67 Constant Spring Road, which will be participating in this year's KRW.
