Whitebones Seafood Restaurant
published: Thursday | October 2, 2008

Whitebones Seafood Restaurant offers vegetarians and fish lovers a wide variety of scrumptious seafood dishes for patrons to this year's Gleaner- sponsored KRW. Located on Mannings Hill Road, it is owned by Richard Elliot and Jacqueline Wilson. After Elliot gave up meat some years ago, he was unable to find good seafood places to dine. Thus, he opened the restaurant where non-meat eaters could dine out and feel at home.

The restaurant has a wide variety of seafood dishes and has increased its menu over the past year. Offerings now include: salmon and shrimp surprise, twisted saltfish and gungo rundown, ackee and tofu, lobster alfredo and more.

In October, they are planing to launch shell night on Tuesdays. There will be live cooking and patrons can enjoy not only the mouth-watering cuisine, but the whole dining out experience.

"The staff now sport beautiful uniforms and we have also done some refurbishing. We have added a small fountains and a pond with fish at the entrance," Wilson said.

The ambience is breathtaking with a pond and lush greenery to put you in the mood for a culinary journey.
