A seafood sanctuary is only one of many things for which Port Royal is famous. One eatery adding to its historic placement is The Red Jack Restaurant.

Located at the Morgan's Harbour Hotel and Marina, The Red Jack is inviting you over for good food and great service.

Sous Chef at the restaurant,Walcot Hall, said they are currently excited about their International Grill, a new option for patrons on Saturday nights which operates outside of the restaurant.

"People can make a selection from each cuisine," Hall said. This includes French, Italian, Mexican, Caribbean, Jamaican and Oriental dishes. It was launched two weeks ago.

For Kingston Restaurant Week, they want to give you a bite of what to expect on a Saturday night. Try the Tijuana shrimp. "It's flamed with tequila and lime and then smeared with cream sauce and served over a bed of linguini," explained Hall. Additionally, expect favourites like the whole steamed snapper served with bammies; Sir Henry's seafood salad, the royal rundown saltfish and corn fritters as appetisers.
