Norma's on the Terrace - As good as ever
published: Thursday | October 9, 2008

How about this scrumptious appetiser from Norma's on the Terrace? Sautéd shrimp and Capellini pasta in herbs. - Colin Hamilton/Freelance Photographer

As good as ever

Norma's on the Terrace will be cutting the price of meals but certainly not the quality of those dishes for Kingston Restaurant Week(KRW).

"We serve excellent food and good quality. We don't cut corners," said Norma Shirley, owner of the restaurant. This restaurant week will be no exception, as they will be focusing on high-quality food and service. Norma's is promising to give you exactly what you would get on any day in the restaurant.

How about choosing an appetiser of sautéd shrimp with calamari and Capellini pasta in herbs, a main course of roasted deboned corn-fed chicken glazed with june plum, served with caramelised fruit, and for dessert, old-fashioned English trifle? Well, you definitely can, these are only a few of the options you'll have at the Devon House location.

Shirley, a world-class chef, is coming on board for the fourth year and hopes it will be a profitable one. She is encouraging patrons to make their reservations for KRW, but be sure to be on time as they will only be holding a table for 15 minutes.

Other Jamaican locations, not included in Kingston Restaurant Week are Norma's at the Marina and Norma's Restaurant on the Beach.
