Acropolis is the only restaurant that is part of The Gleaner-sponsored Kingston Restaurant Week (KRW), that satisfies both your hunger and that 'get-rich-quick' craving.

The restaurant offers both international and local cuisine. For KRW this year, there will be two sittings, at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. plus a half-hour entertainment package during each sitting. Management promises to give away two prizes in each segment. These prizes will be lunch or dinner at the restaurant or weekend for two, gift baskets and more.

Corporate Communication Coordinator Carlene Edwards said that last year the response was great. She notes that each day they had full bookings and feedback from diners was overwhelming. Already people have been making reservations since the KRW launch on October 2.

Tantalise their palates

This year patrons will have a chance to tantalise their palates from the restaurant's KRW menu with dishes such as: Caribbean seafood broth, tamarind paste marinated rack of lamb, or dig in a sinfully delicious slice of rum and raisin cheesecake drizzled with strawberry topping

Edwards notes that during dinner there be an excited entertainment line up. She said like last year diners will get to enjoy the meal, service and the 'one in a million' entertainment package that they can only get at the Acropolis.

Also, Acropolis is also participating as a club, thus after dinner individuals who are into winning some cash can enjoy a game of black jack or play the slot machines. Or if you are not up for that, then relax at the bar to a lovely complimentary drink (however, you have to show dinner receipt from any of the KRW participating restaurant).
