About healing and forgiveness
published: Tuesday | October 21, 2008

The Editor, Sir:

This is in response to Martin Henry's column in The Sunday Gleaner, October 19:

Definitely I enjoyed your column in Sunday's Gleaner, "Forgiveness, healing, restoration." Although I did not hear the programme, I am aware of the admirable work being done by Dionne Jackson-Miller. From what you write, this particular radio interview surely qualifies for consideration of an award.

I noted, however, that you wrote affirmatively. I am aware that many columnists tend to do that today without supportive information. So, grateful if you would advise and avoid me making a recommendation perchance I feel like submitting this one for consideration. Was this really an award-winning interview, or one worthy of an award?

I am, etc.,

CLARE A. FORRESTER
