NOTE-WORTHY
published: Wednesday | October 29, 2008

I am a dunce!

I have far too often had reason to doubt my intellectual capabilities. I no longer entertain such doubts. As I have, over the years, consistently, unreservedly opposed capital punishment, thanks to a recent, typically lucid sermon by the intellectually endowed Reverend Dr Al Miller, I have been enlightened. I am now persuaded that I am, quite simply, dumb; no, worse, 300 per cent a dunce.

No re gays

Time for change re gays? Absolutely NOT. Being of colour is not a choice, Being gay IS. The Bible says it is an abomination to God, and NO homosexual will be in heaven. That IS biblical. Lev. 2: 20 & Lev. 20:13, and there are many more texts. We should love them, yes, they are God's children. However, we should not encourage them by accepting their behaviour. Their lifestyle is repulsive. We are in the last days and Jesus will be returning soon. Let's encourage them to prepare for this great day. God bless you and my country that I love so very much.

Helpful article

All of Mrs Bryan's help and information helped to make me the good student that I am today. Without her sharing of this knowledge, for example the National Achievement scholarships of which I am a recipient, I would have been misinformed on many important aspects of what it takes to get into college.

This article is a great resource that any student can use for a template to succeed. Mrs Bryan really cares about the student and will do anything in her power to make sure students succeed. It is progressive of The Gleaner to publish this information for all students and parents. When I start at the University of Georgia in the fall, they will know about The Gleaner.
