Health, wellness and music take centre stage

Tarrus Riley

WESTERN BUREAU:

A musical fete was the icing on the cake at the four-day WATA Rose Hall Triathlon & Wellness Festival at Cinnamon Hill, St James, last Saturday.

The Ocean Spray and WATA-sponsored free concert never fell short in promoting health and wellness along with great music.

Brilliant performance

International reggae artiste Tarrus Riley gave a brilliant performance. With his hit songs such as Lion Paw, Beware and crowd-favourite She's Royal, the newly-appointed spokesman for Ocean Spray had the audience in a sing-along frenzy throughout his performance.

Although he paused between his act to promote Ocean Spray Cranberry Juice by urging patrons to 'drink to life', they never seemed to mind.

Top form

Early act, the RB Gospel Singers, gave a spiritual performance while Digicel Rising Stars first runners-up Khalil were in top form.

The energetic dancehall trio Voicemail had the crowd dancing to their songs during their 10-minute performance.
