Café Aubergine: great French-Italian cuisine
published: Thursday | October 30, 2008

No stranger to The Gleaner-sponsored Kingston Restaurant Week (KRW), Café Aubergine is ready to impress its customers again this year.

Located in Market Place, along Constant Spring Road, this restaurant specialises in French-Italian cuisine. Representative at the eatery, Taricek Wint, says since the launch, calls have been made enquiring about the services. "We have been getting calls steadily, however, we are still not totally booked out."

Expectations are high

Having had a good experience last year during KRW, expectations are high again this year. "Last year was good. I mean we got new customers and clients who came on board with us. This year we hope to get a lot of business and new customers," said Wint.

At the forefront of this restaurant is its customers, and that is not surprising as great thought and detail were used to come up with the menu, noted by the restaurant's agent. "We have three different types of main courses and these consist of the most popular items. These dishes are the ones that are in the most demand and loved most by diners."

There are many restaurants participating in KRW, so why should you really choose Café Aubergine? Wint says it all. "We mostly get couples during that week, so I would say the ambience is great and not to be left out is the menu that we have. Both go well together."
