Packed home schedule ahead for West Indies
published: Saturday | November 8, 2008

ST JOHN'S, Antigua (CMC):

West Indies will host England, Bangladesh and India in one of the most active home international seasons in history.

Collectively, the Caribbean side will contest six Tests, 12 One-day Internationals, and two Twenty20 Internationals for 44 days of international cricket.

England arrive in mid-January for a full tour of the Caribbean, which will involve four Tests in Jamaica (February 4-8), Antigua (February 13-17), Barbados (Febr-uary 26-March 2), and Trinidad (March 6-10).

A Twenty20 International under the recently installed lights at Queen's Park Oval in Trinidad takes place on March 15.

five ODIs

This will be followed by five ODIs split between Guyana (March 20 and 22), Barbados (March 27 and 29), and St. Lucia (April 3).

Bangladesh arrive in late March for a one-month tour, which will feature two Tests, three ODIs and one Twenty20 International, but no dates and no venues for these matches have been released.

four against India

The international season concludes with four ODIs against India, which will take place on June 26, 28, and July 3 and 5, but no venues have been announced for these matches.

The visit by India is a reciprocal tour to that undertaken by West Indies just prior to 2007 World Cup 2007 and comes following the ICC World Twenty20 in England in early June.
