It was a quick affair on Friday evening as Palace Amusement Company selected the winner of its 'Take the Wheel in a Stylish New SUV' promotion. The grand prize draw was held outside Carib 5 in Cross Roads, Kingston.

The promotion, which was being done in collaboration with Toyota Jamaica and Supreme Ventures, lasted from July 1 to October 31.

Recording group Roots Underground was on hand to select the winning ticket from a large Pre-Mix truck.

The grand prize winner of a 2008 Daihatsu Terios was Sandrene Hyman. First runner-up Tia-Tenarge Reid won a weekend for two at Coral Cliff Hotel while the third-place winner received a three-month movie pass for two to a Palace Amusement cinema.

There were six consolation prizes of a one-month movie pass for two. Winners were Emma Dalton-Brown, Phillip Lindsay, Rhett Butler, Gerry Walcott, Shakira Wynter and Simonda Blake.
