Whither agriculturalists?
published: Monday | December 1, 2008

In reference to The Gleaner editorial titled 'Rethink UWI subsidies' (November 28), one is left to ponder why the engineering and medicine graduates were targeted in accounting for the apparent graduate shortage while a similar accounting was not done for agriculturalists although they were mentioned? Where are these agriculturalists? Are they delivering as expected or are they insufficient in numbers and are also migrating like the doctors?

I am, etc.,

Concerned UWI graduate
