Great job, NHF!

Jamaicans love to gripe about what is wrong with our country, the roads are horrible, electricity will soon not be affordable for the average worker, the crime situation is out of control, dancehall music is loaded with disrespect for women, our young people are a promiscuous lot, and so forth.
But I write not to add my voice to pointing out the wrongs, but to heap accolades on a government agency that I had to do business with on Thursday, December 4.
I lost my NHF (National Health Fund) card and needed a replacement so I called the office and was told to come in with my TRN number and I would be dealt with. I attended the NHF offices at 25 Dominica Drive and was completely stunned - clean, friendly environment, courteous security guard and young, extremely pleasant and upbeat workers. I got my card replacement in five minutes flat.
I was virtually speechless but eventually found words to commend the young man who attended to me. I felt extremely proud and can only hope that a few other government agencies will follow suit.
Great job, NHF!
I am, etc.,
