Christmas behind bars - As melancholy sets in, inmates cherish small gestures of kindness
Fantastic feasts. Repainting. Pine trees and decorations. Quintessential symbols of Christmas cheer resonate as families gather to celebrate. But while many Jamaicans are preparing for the holidays, a pall of sadness hovers over society's misfits stuck behind bars.

Eating creatively for Christmas

Christmas is the time for family and friends to get together for celebrating the season. Food comes naturally with fun and fellowship and provides that special glow to Christmas with lasting memories.

Dressy tresses

There is a diverse line of hair accessories tailor-made for all occasions - wedding, dinner party or work. Ranging from wood to crystal, aqua to lavender, hair bling will make you dazzle on the razzle, and turn heads day and night.

Christmas lights sales looking dim

The global economic crisis and high electricity costs have been identified as crucial factors causing Jamaican consumers to shy away from spending hard-earned money on Christmas decorative lights. Declining electricity consumption this year is evidence of the clampdown on consumer expenditure.

Accepting gifts we hate

'Tis the season for gift giving and persons will go all out to ensure that their loved ones are happy. But even when individuals buy the gift they think their friends or family will enjoy, they are sometimes way off the mark.
