Issuing condomsnot the answer!

Since sobriety is by no means a stark feature of our society, I am not exactly taken aback by the prevalence of the advocacy - by supposedly sensible adults - that issuing condoms to children is the panacea for their rampant indulgence in sexual activity.
The harebrained argument being proffered by the advocates is that since the reality already exists, that our children are copulating like rabbits, then promoting safe, uninhibited continuance is preferable to the 'futile' attempts at prevention.
So, in effect, they are proposing that, instead of burying our heads in the sand, a better alternative would be to bury parental responsibility in condoms!
Well, by the same token, since it is already a reality that our children are being deliberately targeted by criminal psychopaths of every imaginable description, should lethal weapons not be issued to them for protective purposes, rather than being confiscated from them?
Enacting any such idea would soon prove to be disastrously counterproductive, and, therefore, ill-advised.
Think twice about proposal
Similarly, the fact that our children are likely to misconstrue the preventive intentions underlying any wholesale approval of increasing their access to condoms makes it necessary to think twice about adopting such a policy.
Why should we expect our children to be capable of exercising sexual freedom responsibly when their own parents are often not exemplary in this regard, and immorality is so rife in our society?
Understanding the root cause of any problem is indispensable to solving it. Our society has become infected with decadence.
Far too many vital agencies of wholesome socialisation are now either mere shadows of what they ought to be, or veritably extinct.
The self-destructive behaviour of our children is just a symptomatic manifestation of these realities.
The solution lies in institutional leadership that profoundly reflects vision and divinely inspired wisdom; not in condoms and band-aids.
