Fireworks return to the waterfront
After a two-year absence, fireworks on the waterfront is back. The event is slated to generate excitement as the night sky will become an explosion of colours on December 31 as the country ushers in 2009.

Toy shoppers, beware!

The Consumer Affairs Commission (CAC) is encouraging shoppers to exercise caution as they shop for toys this year. The CAC urged consumers to beware of purchasing defective toys when shopping in the United States and online.

Man hanged in St Kitts and Nevis

In the wake of a recent upsurge in crime, authorities in St Kitts and Nevis yesterday carried out the federation's first hanging in 10 years.

The St Ann Parish Council has announced traffic and vending changes for major towns in St Ann's Bay, Ocho Rios and Brown's Town. All traffic changes will take effect as at 6 a.m. on Monday and will last until Saturday, December 27.
