Tivoli looking to cool Strikers

Defending champions Tivoli Gardens will be seeking their third consecutive victory in the Jamaica Netball Association (JNA)/Jamaica National Building Society (JNBS) Open League competition when they face Duhaney Strikers at the Leila Robinson Courts, starting at 2:50 p.m.
In other games being played simultaneously, Blades United 'B' will tackle Bridgeport, New Kingston Raiders oppose 'A' oppose Police 'A' and Skibo 'B' entertain Eden Strikers.
The Sylvester Campbell-coached Tivoli Gardens, who are seeking their third straight lien on the title, will rest their hopes on former national players Kasey Evering, Peta Gaye Thomas and Tamara Hylton.
Duhaney Strikers, on the other hand, will be aiming for their second win this season.
In the opening games at 1:15 p.m., Police 'B' tackle Young Stars, Jamaica Defence Force battle Speg 'B', Torrington Park await Waulgro-vians 'C' and Jamalco face Molynes United 'C'.
At 2 p.m., Jetsetters 'C' challenge Mico, Alpha oppose Correc-tional Services, Alexander Strikers 'B' face Hagley Park 'A' and Windalco entertain Leiba Gardens.
At 3:40 p.m., Friendship will take on G.C. Foster College Strikers, Rollington Town face Omega 'A', Ravens 'C' oppose Progressive Strikers and Molynes United 'B' await Jetsetters 'A'.
At 4:30 p.m., Ravens 'A' oppose Skibo 'A', Jamaica Fire Brigade face Speg 'A', Arnett Gardens challenge Maverly 'B' and East Central entertain Waulgrovians 'B'.
Molynes United 'A' will battle Ravens 'B', Hampshire 'A' tackle Omega 'B', Red Challenge await Boulevard Baptist and Maverly 'A' oppose Tivoli Gardens 'B' in matches slated to begin at 5:20 p.m., while at 6:10p.m. Maxfiled Park face Ocho Rios Magics and Ebony Strikers battle Hampshire 'C'.
Meanwhile, in matches played on Thursday, Police 'A' whipped Blades United 'B' 42-14, Upper Camp stopped Hampshire 'B' 39-30, Arnett Gardens thrashed East Central 46-6, Hampshire 'A' outclassed Jetsetters 'C' 51-4, Omega 'A' beat Maverly 'B' 33-8 and Rivoli United got by Mico 23-19.
