Most of the evil done in the world, present as well as past, was done for material gain. Often these acts were done behind a shield of religion.

When one religion, faith or group of people regards itself as better than the other, calls itself 'chosen' or is deemed to be 'chosen', there is bound to be discord, distrust and even destruction.

The Palestinians have been driven out of their homeland and are penned up in a small area of about 20 square miles.

When waves of sophisticated bombers discharge their lethal cargoes on people with nowhere to hide, is this not genocide? Think, five children killed in one household! Over 300 in two days!

The Palestinians are people, too, just as the Israelis are. There can be no peace without justice. Love of land and lucre cannot bring peace and security.
