COCKTAILS ANYONE?

There is a new book on the shelves and with summer here, you could try making some of the recipes to cool things down.

Rum-based drink

Dip-an-fall-back

2 oz rum

1/2 teaspoon Curacao

1 teaspoon orange juice

1 teaspoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon raspberry syrup

Shake with ice and strain into cocktail glass. Decorate with small slice of pineapple.

Smirnoff-based drink

Double Black Martini

1 3/4oz Smirnoff Black

1/5oz Johnnie Walker Black

Coat martini glass with Johnnie Walker Black and stir Smirnoff Black in mixing glass with ice. Strain into martini and add lemon twist (optional)

Liqueur-based drink

Nutty Professor

3 parts Sangster's Jamaica Rum Cream

1 part Frangelico hazelnut liqueur

Combine all ingredients in a rock glass over ice.
