The St Andrew South police yesterday arrested and charged 24-year-old Carolyn Bygrave under the Child Care and Protection Act for 'assisting a child (minor) to run away from the custody and care of a fit person'.

Bygrave was arrested and charged after she brought 10-year-old Annaleise Davis, who was reported missing from the Duhaney Park Primary School on Tuesday, to police officers at the Cross Roads Police Station on Thursday.

Bygrave is to face the courts next Wednesday.
